Medics Amy (Heather Drew) and Jose (Jason Lopez) are the first to
arrive at a crime scene after a 911 call and are quick to find a dead body
(Saranna Rotgard) - instead of the reported three. What's worrying about
the body though is every time they look away, the body changes position -
despite being clearly dead. And when Jose steps out for a minute to never
return, it begins to dawn on Amy there's something horribly wrong ...
Fan fave Debbie Rochon voices the police woman en route to the crime
scene.
A suitably spooky horror short that might be short on spectacle but
makes up for it with atmospheric filmmaking, and that successfully works
on the "less is more"-principle, and thus welcomely lacks in
backstory or explanation and instead throws the audience successfully into
the creepy here and now, to full effect. And of course, that both Heather
Drew and Jason Lopez deliver believable and grounded performances doesn't
hurt one bit either to make this a pretty cool shocker.
