The zombie apocalypse is upon us, but there are still zombie deniers in the face of the fact - first and foremost of course Victoria Winkelhauser (Lynn Lowry), CEO of the Troxadil Corporation, the very company whose product, a powerful antidepressant, caused the outbreak in the first place. But Victoria Winkelhauser stands her ground that "there's no such thing as zombies" even when faced with an actual zombie (Martina McClements) on live television.

In the meantime, Carlotta (Luana Ribeira) receives a visit from her ex, Paul (Rami Hilmi), whom she enthusiastically invites into her home, not at all taking into account that he looks and smells like a corpse. It's not long before Carlotta's husband Colin (Rudy Barrow) comes home from work as well, and he's less than pleased about finding Paul in his home, not so much because he perceives him as a rival but because he knows for a fact he's a zombie - after all he has killed him with his own hands. Thing is, it proves to be impossible to convince Carlotta of the obvious - which is a shame because two zombie hunters from the ZIA (Zombie Investigation Assosiation), Agent Tall (Debra Lamb) and Agent Small (Scott Hillier) are waiting right outside the flat, and they'd sure know what to do - but they can't come in because it's against protocol ...

Since I'm personally involved with this project as writer and producer, I saw it only fitting to invite a guest reviewer to give his two Cent in my stead ...

Guest review by Volker Hannemann:

„Hilarious!“ – that’s the word which comes to mind when seeing There’s No Such Thing As Zombies. Michael Haberfelner is the author and producer of this zombie comedy which features a top notch cast, among others Luana Ribeira, Rudy Barrow, Lynn Lowry and (my favorite!) Debra Lamb! Insane scenes and funny dialog at its very best! Oh yes, Mr. Haberfelner has a short appearance, too! If you love weird humor, this is the perfect movie for you!
