As a little child, Frigga is raped by an old man, an experience that leaves her forever mute.

Later, in her late teens/early twens, she has turned into a cute little farmgirl (& is played by Christina Lindberg), & one day she misses the bus to go to the doctor, & decides to hitchhike ... but her driver, Tony (Heinz Hopf) seems to be interested in much more than giving her a lift ... he invites her for dinner, makes her drunk, persuades her to come back to his appartment, drugs her drink & when she's passed out, hooks her on heroine.

After a few days he gets her addicted to a point that she signs a forged letter to her parents that contains wild verbal abuse. When Tony wants to force her to be his prostitute sheat first refuses, scratching one of her client's face, but soon she realizes she can't live without the smack anymore & she becomes his whore. In Tony's little organisation, she meets a fellow whore, Sally (Solveig Andersson), who tells her she's secretly saving to make an escape to Switzerland & to there undergo drug habilitation ... but a few days later her room is empty, but her bedcloths are soaked in blood, & there's a bullethole in the pillow ...

Frigga, wanting to at least make peace with her parents (Per-Axel Arosenius, Gunnel Wadner), goes back to the country, only to see them being carried off in coffins, an apparent double suicide by poisoning after they couldn't take the abuse from her letter ...

This makes Frigga take the offensive as she soon dedicates all her sparetime to learn to drive a car, shoot a gun, & use martial arts. once she's accomplished that, she steals a gun, buys a car & enough smack to last for a few days ... & then she rings the doorbell of one of her best customers &, upon him opening, shoots him dead in broad daylight.

Tony, upon learning that one of his employees has gone wild, warns 2 other regular customers, only to see them shot by Frigga before his very eyes. Realising the seriousness of the situation he hires 2 contract killers, temporarily puts a lid on his operation, & tries to get to Frigga via her drugdealer. But no matter what traps he sets for her, Frigga comes out of all of them unscathed & undaunted, even when the police show up she doesn'T let them stop her, instead usas her martial arts on them & even steals their car. Finally she writes Tony a letter, challenging him to a duel, & he agrees, believing himself to still have a trick or 2 up his sleeve. Frigga though has anticipated even that, & when he has her at gunpoint, & all seems to be lost for Frigga, she pulls a gun that she has tagged to the back  of her neck & hidden under her hair & shoots him in the leg - repeatedly. She then buries him up to his neck, lays a noose aorund his neck & ties a horse to the other end of the rope ...

On one hand this is a trashy, straightforward revenge-sex-thriller with a very simplistic story, but very economically done. On the other hand though some beautiful wide landscapes, the elegiac acting of Lindberg, some beautiful montages contrasting her training sessions with (hardcore-)sex , & especially the many action scenes shot in extreme slow motion (that goes way beyond just paraphrasing Sam Peckinpah) give the film an almost lyrical quality not normally found in genre pics.
