Rock the ranger (Jordan Lee) is in trouble, as his wildlife resort faces foreclosure if he doesn't come up with money by Monday. So he, a confessing atheist, joins forces with bible salesman Pepe (Dustin Triplett) to build a nature house that is to bring in enough money to pay all his debts - by Monday. Thing is, Pepe wants to trick Rock into building a church, so their partnership soon becomes a bit rocky - when they stumble upon an injured man (Chris Gorges), who has apparently been in contact with some lethal green slime. And following the trail of the green slime back, they encounter a dimensional door and through it enter the lab of the mad human mouse scientist (a puppet voiced by Eric Manche), who has developed the green slime as an all-purpose substance - from pesticide to cleaning liquid to food and drink - and it's alomost perfected, apart from the fact that it's lethal. But now that Rock and Pepe have found out his secret, he wants to eliminate them ... but the two soon find out that his guards explode upon impact, and are about to get away - when the green slime breaks loose, devouring everything in its way, including not only Rock the ranger's park but also all of Florida ...

Now ok, Slimed is a movie that's not to be taken seriously at all. Pretty much all about this movie (including the messages one might want to read into it) is silly - but it's the good kind of silly, that makes one laugh with the movie rather than at it. Storywise, Slimed is of an "anything goes" (within the budget) mentality that really pays no heed to plausibility or narrative coherence, as long as it gets a laugh - and in its own way, Slimed is actually pretty funny - and totally bonkers in the most entertaining way!

And if this has gotten you at all interested, Slimed is available from
