Yalalia's (Michelle Fahrenheim) home planet is running out of water, so
she has been sent to earth to spy out the planet's water supply ... but
earthlings are notoriously bad at sharing, so instead of helping her and
her people find a solution, she is hunted - and ultimately cornered at a
water reservoir by Captain Shade (Oliver Park) and his soldiers, who are
heavily armed and ready to kill ... A cool little film that
rather effortly works as two very different things at the same time: On
one hand it's a really cool action packed thriller full of chases, fights
and shoot-outs, all beautifully staged and breathlessly paced - but on the
other, it thinks beyond just the next bullet, the next hit, the next fall,
puts a philosophical spin on the outer and inner conflict that's going on,
thanks to a well thought through script and strong performances by all
involved. Totally worth a watch!
