Detective Williams (William Christopher Watson) is investigating a
series of grisly murders that have one thing in common, all the victims'
dogs have been taken by the killer. And the victims have all mistreated
their dogs one way or the other - and apparently these two things have
something to do with one another, as the dog-loving son (Xander Meteo) of
tso of the victims (Chris Maher. Natalöie Veater) has come out of this
unscathed even though he came face to face with the killer. This case hits
home hard with the detective, him being a doglover himself.
A fun thriller miniature that seems to be part of a bigger
picture butnevertheless tackles all the necessary plotpoints, from the
killer and his motives and modus operandi, to the investigating and his
backstory, and what's basically the connection between the two of them.
And frankly, while this works nicely as a short, it would also make a
pretty cool feature film.
