Lucy's (Lucille Ball) boss Mr Mooney (Gale Gordon) sends her over to a
film studio to deliver some contracts to a film studio - and Lucy thinks
that while she's already here, it might be a good opportunity too meet
John Wayne ... and after spilling ketchup all over him in the cafeteria,
she completely ruins one of his shots, even going so far as to knocking
him out by accident ... Not a particularly great episode, but it's
fun to see Lucy making fun of John Wayne and him firing back, and the two show
some good chemistry doing so. And even
though it's riddled with childish sequences, seeing Lucy wreck a movie set
like a force of nature is at least mildly amusing.
