Lilian (Katja Bienert) is found wandering on the beach, all naked and totally confused. Eventually, she is brought to the local police station, where local cop Bernardo (Jess franco) and special agent Pereida (Antonio Mayans) question her. Apparently she, a German tourist, was tricked by Olga (Marie Carmen Nieto) into hooking up with Jorge Miranda (Emilio Linder), an incredibly wealthy man who totally impressed the poor student girl with his estate, his swimming pool and everything - but before you know it, he had her drugged and had taken her virginity. Days of rape follow, and Lilian is made to obey Miranda by constant injections of heroin. Eventually, thogh, Miranda lost his interest in her and that's when she managed to escape.

Pereida immediately wants to have Miranda arrested, but for poor country cop Bernardo that's too big a fish to handle - and when Pereida turns to his own superior (Daniel J.White), he is turned down as well - so he takes investigations into his own hands ...

Meanwhile, the police release Lilian - but she is by now so hooked on heroin that she returns to the place where she first met Miranda, a discotheque/brothel run by Irina (Lina Romay) ... and it doesn't take long before she allows others to torture and rape her just to get her next fix.

Pereida meanwhile has decided to take the law into his own hands - and he quite simply shoots Miranda dead.

This film has earned some notoriety for being the first Spanish hardcore porn movie - though all the explicit scenes were filmed after principal shooting (the porn ban was lifted in spain right during production), and at least for Katja Bienert's hardcore scenes, a body double was used (she does quite a bit of nudity herself though and looks stunning) ... which gives many of the sex scenes, usually director Jess Franco's forte, a weird, somehow schizophrenic feeling which actually detracts from the film's main plot (as thin as this may be) - and that's exactly why Lilian is not one of Franco's better films, it's just too incoherent to work in the way it was supposed to be. Maybe a softcore version with all the sex scenes intact as they were originally shot and intended to be would do the trick here to vastly improve the film ...
