Still kept in Purgatory, the Burglar (Joel D. Wynkoop) is forced by the
Witch (M. Catherine Wynkoop) to tell her five more stories before he can
leave ...
- He Who Laughs Last: William (Joel D. Wynkoop) wants to scare
his wife (M. Catherine Wynkoop) to death for her money. Thing is, what
scares her might scare him right back ...
- Death is the Only Option: Hitmen Jimmy (Justin Bower) and
Cortez (Mike Rutlin) are usually pretty good at their job - so how
come their last mark (Gary Soumar) has survived despite being shot in
the head multiple times? Worse yet, their employer (Jimmy Shay)
doesn't like their mark still running around so he has his revenge on
Cortez, Jimmy's dad, his wife (Lillian Lamour), before zeroing in on
Jimmy. But that's not even Jimmy's biggest problem ...
- Devious Stratagems: Even though their both married to other
people, Tom (Phil Herman) and Judy (Debbie D) have a relationship -
and are ready to turn to desparate measures to get together, he by
murdering his wife (Alba O'Neill), she by faking her own death. But in
both cases, things don't go quite the way they're supposed to ...
Butch Patrick has a voiceover cameo as a police detective in this one.
- The Vessel: After buying a vase at an estate sale, Ellen
(Windy Hamilton) starts seeing weird things, which psychic Lily
(Alysia Ingrim) is soon to lable an "entity". Ellen tries to
exorcise the entity, but things aren't exactly going as planned ...
- Victoria: A female vampire (Silvia Bruno) makes her way from
Europe to the US to excape her pursuers - but her thirst for blood
makes her kill all the crew on the voyage, causing her to arrive in
Uruguay instead of New York - where she, the vampire, runs into very
unexpected opposition ...
A very fun genre anthology, and one that really has something for
everybody, from the more plot- to the more gore-oriented segment, with
even a silent (Victoria) thrown in, and with the stories varying in
their degrees of irony, while stylistically being all over the place - and
that's really what makes this one so much fun, as it's full of surprises,
and even if one segment might not be exactly your thing, the next one
might be right up your alley, while none of the episodes fall below a
certain quality standard, and all do their best to entertain (and largely
succeed), to make this one fun genre trip!
