Sia (Bridget Murray) crosses the parking lot one night to get to her
car when a stranger addresses her and ... suddenly she finds herself in a
room, a hammer in her hand, beating a dead body to pulp, with her only
companion being a plague doctor (Taylor Watkins), who in equal parts eggs
her on and mocks her, pretending to be her friend in one moment, a
punishing God in the next - and to say this experience is somewhat
traumatic for Sia is a gross understatement ... One can't but
agree, Dyscrasia is basically creepy as hell! And at least part of
the reason for this is that it doesn't try to explain things away. Sure,
the scenes with the plague doctor might be a bit on the cerebral side, but
to-the-point acting and direction transmit just the right mood to get to
one. Pretty cool, actually!
