Krishna (Zana), a young TV-reporter, has made a documentary about the
porn-biz - but her network didn't like it, and as a consequence did not
prolong her contract. With few other options left, Krishna decides to go
into porn herself, to both make a more in-depth documentary and become a
bona fide pornstar. Soon, she experiences all the usual porn career
highlights, like having to have sex with your manager (in a re-enacted
scene in which Krishna is played by Noname Jane aka Violet Blue), doing
gonzo porn, some stupid porn parody, and finally a big porn movie - and
this is when Krishna realizes she is now where she always belonged. Now
this movie could have been real fun in terms of the pron biz making
fun of itself, and in some scenes one even sees traces of self-parody -
but in all, while Being Porn Again is a lot less childish when
taking its subject matter by the horns than many non-porn mainstream
movies, it's essentially just another piece of porn, and as such whether
you like it entirely depends on how much you like the girls. Personally
speaking, I love Violet Blue, and while the other girls are by no means
ugly, I could have done without them just as well.
