Somehow, gangster Ace (Dan Seymour) and his moll Connie (Veda Ann Borg)
get into the possession of Superman's (George Reeves) costume, and
Superman, in his Clark Kent identity, is worried sick, because if they
find out his secret identity that could have grave consequences. So Kent
calls his detective buddy Candy (Frank Jenks) to investigate, but he of
course can't tell him what he's supposed to find.
Ultimately, Ace and Connie come to think that Candy is Superman though
and take him captive - which is the turn of events Kent has been looking
for, because now he can trail down the gangsters, and save his costume and
his friend alike.
And Ace and Connie ?
He can't kill them of course, but leaving them alive would be risking
his secret identity ... so he abandons them on a mountaintop with no way
down but promises to bring them food regularly. Ace and Connie still try
the descent (she in high heels even) ... and fall to their death.
Amusing episode, with George Reeves doing a great job as worried sick Kent.
