Larry McCoy (Billy Nelson) once was a underworld big shot - but now
he's a washed-up has-been living in a cheap apartment ... until he learns
the upstairs neighbour, absent-minded professor Oscar (Sterling Holloway)
has developed a computer that can actually plot crimes - perfect crimes.
From now on, McCoy and his men rob banks in full daylight, without ever
even risking to get caught, because the computer has taken care of all the
eventualities. Even Superman (George Reeves) is rendered helpless, because
the computer threatens to reveal his true identity - heck, he is even made
an accomplice in one of Larry's perfect crimes.
However, professor Oscar eventually figures hismachine is abused, and
ultimately he reprograms it so that the gangsters drive right into the
clutches of the police.
Childish and cheesy, but in this way also kind of cute - in a campy
sort of way.
