Clark Kent (George Reeves), Lois Lane (Phyllis Coates) and Jimmy Olsen
(Jack Larson) are investigating strange goings-on in Garvin's (Stanley
Andrews) lumbering business, where all the lumberjacks are frightened away
by a werewolf. Of course, they all think it's nothing but mumbo jumbo, but
then Lois sees the werewolf too, and to top it all off, she and Jimmy get
caught in a forest fire. But thank god Clark Kent is secretly Superman,
and he is not only able to extinguish the forest fire, he is also able to
solve the case of the weird werewolf along the way: In fact it was all
just a ruse by lumberjack Jacques (Lou Krugman) who thought Garvin wanted
to cheat his sweetheart Babette (Jane Adams) out of her share of the
lumbering business (he was wrong by the way), but when he wants to kill
Garvin, Babette - who has been his accomplice so far - sets her wolf loose
on him.
Somehow, the whole Superman crew transplanted into the Canadian forests
just doesn't work, and that the werewolf story is just a tad too silly to
even be funny doesn't help much either. One of the worst episodes of the
series.
