King Richard (Patrick Barr) has returned to England incognito to pay
his friend Robin Hood (Richard Greene) a visit - and to have a bit of
revenge on those who conspire against him while he's abroad, first and
foremost one Lord de Belvoir (John Dearth), whom he lures to Sherwood
forest with Maid Marian's (Bernadette O'Farrell) help, then has tried by
Robin and his men before he fights, defeats and kills him in a duel, with
Robin and company fending off the Sheriff of Nottingham (Alan Wheatley)
and his men. Nothing great, but a naive adventure story that
might be most appreciated by pre-teen boys - good thing then that this
series was aimed at exactly this market segment.
