Great Britain: The magician Brockhurst (Leonard Mudie) has vowed to
return to the living five years after his death to settle a handful of old
scores, and wouldn't you know it, it's five years since he has died today,
and he has already called the men he hated most, theatrical agent Sir
Arthur (Colin Campbell), inspector Farrington (Patrick Aherne), and the
truckdriver who ran him over five years ago to threaten them and make sure
they gather at Sir Arthur's place. And on top of that Sir Arthur was
already almost killed by the ghost and only the intervention of Superman
(George Reeves), who just happens to be around, has saved him. Superman
also soon finds out that there is no actual ghost, Brockhurst's death was
only faked, and Brockhurst himself is actually the truckdriver who's
supposed to have killed him - and as it is, Brockhurst gets his just
desserts ...
Nothing great, but an entertaining episode that might be slightly
childish, but childish in a good way.
