Corrupt rightwing politician Hoffmann plans to become mayor in the next
election, but there is a reporter, Julius, who runs a series of exposing
his evil schemes, so Hoffmann tries to get him out of the way. But Julius
is saved by Supergirl (Kelly Trump), whose human alter ego, lawyer
Fiedler, soon falls in love with Julius, too. Learning about Julius'
relationship with the lawyer, Hoffmann's right-hand-man Krause tries to
kidnap her assistant Elke, an attempt that is thwarted by Supergirl. Despite
everything, Hoffmann is elected mayor, but when he parties at a local
brothel, he is photographed by Julius, who later that nightpays a visit to
Hoffmann to gloat - not a good idea since Hoffmann pulls a gun and ...
Supergirl intervenes, takes care of Hoffmann via some raays shooting from
her eyes, then flies away with Julius, treating him to a blowjob in
mid-air. Let's be honest: of all comicbook characters, Supergirl
is one of those most likely to get a porn treatment. Unfortunately though,
this film presents a less-than-inspired porned up version of the source
material, for a variety of reasons: Fist off, the sex is not really
married to the story, it seems the characters just take breaks from the
actual story to have sex (or in one instance, the sex scene has got
nothing to do with the story at all), secondly there's the plot, which
just seems to go nowhere, really, and since I don't suspect too many
people watching this film for its plot, it still doesn't make too much
sense putting so little thought into the story of a plot-based porn.
Thirdly, there is also the acting and direction, which are hardly above
amateur level - which again poses the question why to make this one
plot-based. (I should point out here that at least the effects are pretty
good in their corniness.) And finally: Why doesn't Supergirl herself have
more sex scenes, there is just one fuck featuring Kelly Trump at the
beginning of the movie, in which she isn't even in costume, and the
blowjob (the film's most inspired scene) towards the end. Now I'm not the
biggest fan of Ms Trump, but after all, this is supposed to be a Supergirl-movie,
isn't it, not one about random people having sex ...
