Yosuke, a good friend of Takuya (Shinji Todou), has returned to his
girlfriend Junko. What is so remarkable about this is that Yosuke was
believed to have died in a climbing accident 8 months ago. However, he
hadn't really died back then but was saved by Professor Monster (Mitsuo
Ando) and the Iron Cross Army, who have since conducted human experiments
on him to make him an ultimate soldier. Of course, the soldiers of the
Iron Cross Army are still on his track, but fortunately Takuya is secretly
Spider-Man, and with his superpowers he manages to throw them off Yosuke's
scent - literally, because the army has brought in a special Machine Bem
(~ robot) that is able to sniff out people. Eventually, the Iron Cross
Army concentrates on Junko to track down Yosuke, and they succeed, too -
only to now use Yasuke as bait to lure Spider-Man into a trap in which
he's supposed to be killed by Yasuke. Junko warns Spider-Man just in time
though, and ultimately, Yasuke is allowed to die catching a bullet for
Spider-Man to atone for his sin. In the finale, Spider-Man destroys
Professor Monster's secret lab, then calls in his giant robot
Marveller/Leopardon to fight and destroy this episode's Machine Bem that
has in the meantime grown to gigantic size. Silly but fun -
there's nothing more I can think of to say about this episode.
