A typhoon has pretty much destroyed a Japanese island, so the Science
Patrol stops by for help - to find out there's something far more serious
threatening the sland than a silly old typhoon: An uranium eating giant
monster. The Patrol tries to lure the monster away from the islands
biggest city via a barrel of uranium hanging from a helicopter, but
somehow, the helicopter's pilot Hayata (Susumu Kurobe) fails to properly
release the barrel, and thus the helicopter goes up in a bang ... good
thing then that Hayata is secretly giant robot Ultraman (Bin Furuya), and
he kicks some serious monster ass to save the island from utter
destruction ... Childish fun, like most episodes of the
original Ultraman, and the monster looks pretty neat, too.
