Not able to find a job a secretary of such, Treasure McGuire (Marian Nixon) is instead hired as a model by a big advertising company. But when she refuses the advances of her boss, Foster Carver (George Meeker], he wants to throw her out like that ... when Mr Kluckmeyer (Herman Bing) of Tango stockings, Foster's biggest client, insists that she becomes his trademark model ...

Soon, Treasure falls for Foster's younger, mild mannered brother Tony (Matty Kemp, & eventually the 2 marry in secret ... muh to the dismay of Foster, who doesn't like his brother favoured over him, & Foster's & Tony's mum (Virginia Howell), who thinks Treasure, a mere model, beneath her class of the filthy rich.. & since Tony is not yet 21, Foster & mum can legally anull the marriage - which they do. Treasure, who suspects foul play, makes Tony promise her to come back to her on his 21st birthday - so they can marry all over - but Foster has another trick up his sleeve & produces forged proof that he himself had an affair with Treasure. Outraged, Tony leaves the country & tries to forget her, while her hope that Tony might come back is nourished by forged letters Foster writes in Tony's name.

HAving run out of money, Treasure & her best friend, musician Oliver (Chick Chandler) decide to persuade Kluckmeyer of Tango Stockings to open a nightclub with them as main attractions, which goes well for a while ... butr Treasuer just cannot forget Tony, 6 what's more, she has a child from him (which she noever told him about), while Oliver is secretly in love with her & hates see her breaking down more & more, especially when the newspaper announces Tony's engagement to another woman ...

In a noble gesture, Oliver ignores his feelings for Treasure, goes to the Carvers' mansion on Tony's 21st birthday & drags Tony across town to Treasure to finally make up with her ... & this time, it works ...

Rather routine melodranm that is somewhat directionless for a mere 70 minutes, trying to tell way too much in too short a time, but Marian Nixon makes a spirited leading lady who is able to carry most of the movie.
