Vikki (Jovie Lyn), manager of the stripclub Tails, finally finds out
it's her own boss and sort-of boyfriend Nick (Harley Wallen) himself who's
cooking the books, but he claims he only does it because he wants to
gather enough money to get away from it all with her, and in a manner that
they can't be found, either. But "getting away from it all" is
at the moment really spurned by the fact that he can't sell the club
because it's in his brother Joe's (Joseph Victor) name - though Joe's on
his death bed, so it might not be long now. And time really is of the
essence, as Officer Alison (Kaiti Wallen) is still on the look for her
missing sister, one of Nick's girls, and the knowledge sinking in that she
probably just overdosed and her body was disposed of to avoid trouble only
makes her more furious. But she's getting closer to the truth, too ... Starting
with a nice flashback to the 1970s and to Nick's childhood that wasn't
exactly free of bad fortune, this episode doesn't lose its tension back in
the here and now and does a rather splendid job to steer things straight
towards disaster - in the best possible way for the audience, as the
cliffhanger here promises some major reveals soon ...
