Tom (Mike Lookinland) has problems finding friends, and when he tries
to impress Joe (Tommy Norden) by showing him his father's gun - which
turns out to be loaded -, Joe just takes it and heads off. Now that would
be bad enough, but the gun's actually an antique and might just explode
when fired for the next time ... Ultimately, Tom confides in his
teacher Andrea Thomas (JoAnna Cameron), and since Andrea is secretly
superheroine Isis, it doesn't take her long to find Joe and save him from
the bad bad gun just before it explodes. And everybody becomes a better
person as a result. Very weak episode that delivers its message
- "don't play with guns" - sledgehammer-style but completely
lacks any kind of suspense or even interesting characters. Even the camp
factor inherent to the series can't make up for the episode's shortcomings
this time around.
