Claudia (Bree Anthony) is engaged to marry Victor (Tony Richards), much
to the dismay of her sister Terry (Annie Sprinkle), who is also in love
with Victor and who even had an affair with another man to make him
jealous - but to no avail, eventually Claudia and Victor make their
engagement official by announcing their wedding plans to her mother Ada
(Sandy Foxx), but at that occasion, when he drinks a drink brought to him
by Terry, he drops dead, like out of the blue.
Claudia has a nervous breakdown, but when she recovers, she wants to
see her fiancé one last time to say good-bye - when suddenly the dead man
rises, and she falls into a state of shock ...
Ultimately, the family doctor (Alex Mann) explains everything: Claudia
was to have inherited her father's wealth on her 21st birthday, but she
had a heart condition, so Ada, actually her stepmother, conspired with
Victor to scare her to death before her birthday, in which they almost
succeeded, but now they are taken in by the police ...
A standard murder mystery done as hardcore porn directed by Doris
Wishman - for trashfilm lovers this sounds like loads of fun, and to an
extent it even is: There's the usual crew of bad actors forcing their way
through silly dialogue, there's Doris Wishman's nervous handheld camera,
her usual cutting to unimportant details in the middle of whatever scenes,
and even a bit of routinely not showing the person speaking in dialogue
scenes (though by far not as frequent as in earlier films). Of course,
when it comes to the porn scenes, the film looks like any other porn film
(especially since Wishman was reportedly not present during the shooting
of these scenes), so if you are not into this, Doris Wishman or not will
probably not make all that much of a difference.
Still, it's kind of fun.
By the way, in 2001, Doris Wishman made another film called Satan
was a Lady, which bears no resemblance to this one. Also, the 2001
film was not hardcore.
