Tailor Karl Muller (Fred Essler) is deep in debts, and since he is too
proud do borrow any money from his son Alan (Robert R.Stephenson), he
borrows it from an illegal moneylender, Gus (Henry Kulky), who collects an
interest of 20 percent per week though, and when Karl's unable to pay up,
he sends some goons around to his shop to beat him up and thrash his shop.
When Alan learns about the moneylender, he packs his army gun to pay him a
visit, but is overcome by Gus and gang who soon prepare to off him.
Fortunately, Alan's wife-to-be (Aline Towne) has the good sense to call
Captain Braddock (Reed Hadley) of the Racket Squad to intervene just in
time. Average episode of Racket Squad, that like
most episodes of the series spends an awful amount of time on the setup of
its story to then pull a full stop when tension and suspense are supposed
to set in.
