Tonia (Brooke Lewis) has been cheated on by her husband - at least
that's what she tells her psycho therapist (Ricky Dean Logan), who tries
to deflect her suspicions, probably because he knows she's a bit unstable
and hasn't taken her medication of late. But she sees him just blocking
off what she knows is fact for some "brotherhood of men" or
something, and turns the tables on him, actually makes him as good as
admit that he has cheated on his wife as well, and ultimately makes him
explain to her (in a generalized way) why men cheat on women. But Tonia's
not happy yet, and she has a trick or two more up her sleeve ... A
clever little short that really builds up its tension and suspense and
ultimately explodes in a twist ending that might be a bit more predictable
than writer/director Staci Layne Wilson intended, but it's delivered with
style indeed, like a good, old-fashioned short story would. Rather
enjoyable indeed!
