Herman Munster (Fred Gwynne) falls asleep in his car right in front of
the Munster residence, and soon enough the car's stolen by crooks Freddie
(Lennie Weinrib) and Al (Lee Krieger), who together with Marty (Val Avery)
and someone named Big Louie want to rob a bank. Thing is, no one of them
has ever met Big Louie, so when Herman wakes up they promptly mistake him
for Louie and force him to be their getaway driver for the job. Of course,
in a police chase afterwards, Herman eventually crashes the car. In the
meantime, Lily's (Yvonne De Carlo) worried sick about the whereabouts of
her husband Herman and even calls the police. And the police eventually
pick up the real Big Louie (Maxie Rosenbloom) and mistake him for Herman
and deliver him at the Monster residency. It all eventually ends happily
though.
From Maxie Rosenbloom down, there are some brilliant
supporting players in this one that really fit the gangster-angle of this
episode, and the main cast are as solid and hilarious in their roles as
you'd have expected, all of which making this great sixties sitcom
entertainment.
