Riley (Stormy Daniels) is the latest sensation of the silver screen,
the latest it-girl - but allher sudden fame has made her lonely, has
isolated her from the world, and she finds out most of her friends,
including her rockstar boyfriend, are fake. That said, she herself treats
her erstwhile best friend and present assistant like shit, and she has
started to drink heavily, just to calm herself down. Then she receives a
series of threatening letters, letters she takes seriously enough to hire
a bodyguard, Mike. Mike is different from the usual Hollywood crowd, ,
he's so ... real. No wonder Riley falls for him before long, but even then
it takes her forever to get him into her bedroom and into her bed, where
they make passionate love (off-screen) - after which it turns out Mike is
actually the guy who has sent her all these threatening letters, and he
really wants to kill her, right then and there - but since Riley never
sleeps wihtout a gun under her cushion, she shoots him dead on the spot.
It's only now that she learns who her real friends are when her best
friend turned PA wants to take the blame for her ... You
probably haven't guessed it from my synopsis, but this is a piece of
hardcore porn, even if it follows your standard thriller formula rather
closely - and that's the main problem with the film: All build-up of
suspense so vital for a thriller to work as a thriller is constantly
interrupted by extended sex scenes (after all, the main reason most people
buy porn movies), and thus apart from the sex, the film never really kicks
into gear ... and as for the sex, the scenes are rather unimaginative
standard, and it probably depends on how much you like the performers. One
last note: I found it rather odd that the last sex scene between Riley and
Mike, the one fuck in the movie that is actually part of the narrative,
was kept off-screen. That's weird to say the least.
