When Doug (Kevin James) and Carrie (Leah Remini) learn that the
engagement ring he gave to her is worth a whole lot more than what
he paid for it, they are quick to sell it to buy a satellite dish and a
jacuzzi - but when Doug gets a headache from a marathon television session
and they both get a rash from the chloride in the jacuzzi, they think it's
bad karma because of selling the ring, so they try to recreate the moment
in which Doug first proposed to Carrie - with mixed results. Pretty
much every movie and TV-show about engagement rings is bound to be at
least a tad cheesy, and this one is no exception - but the usual fine
performances and some really good dialogue save it from becoming a
failure.
