Much to Doug's (Kevin James) dismay, his wife Carrie's (Leah Remini)
job at a Manhattan lawfirm causes her to spend more and more time at the
office, so much so that she even misses a softball game. At first, Doug
briefly even suspects her of having an affair with her boss (Albie
Selznick), but is soon convinced otherwise - but the bugging feeling just
won't go. Eventually he realizes it's this new lifestyle she has adopted
that comes with her Manhattan job that changed her (at least in his eyes),
but he makes an effort to adapt to her lifestyle and accompanies her to a
cello concert - where he makes a big fool of himself, yet somehow that's
enough to set things right again. The scenes in which Kevin
James makes a fool of himself out of boredom during a cello concert
arevery clichéed and actually pretty badly done, but otherwise this is a
fun episode.
