He (Jason Neff) is a gun for hire, and if we're to believe his words,
one of the top men in his profession, someone who never loses sight of the
bigger picture, always comes prepared for all eventualities. So when he's
hired to kill bratty Grace (Kathy 'Kat' Walsh) and learns about her
disabled brother (Ryan Stoick), he comes up with the perfect plan to take
care of him before offing her - to realize only much too late that he has
walked into a trap and he's the mark and not the marksman ... A
fun little movie that plays with genre expectations only to ultimately
turn the story on its head and end the thing in a twist that's as macabre
as it's funny, just like a good, old-fashioned short story. And the fact
that Mikeal Burgin obviously understands genre filmmaking and creates
suspense in all the right places rather than just poking fun at his story
really makes this one work - as does a solid cast of course. Worth your
time for sure!
