Despite being in what could be a fulfilling relationship himself,
Jeremy's (Anthony Scanish) in love with Suzanna (Melissa Damas), who just
happens to be his best friend's wife. Of course, he tries to suppress his
feelings, but there's only so much he can take before his lust boils over
... Hush is an extremely interesting little film for
sure, one that gets its story across without the use of dialogue or indeed
on-screen sound, instead tells its tale through gazes, gestures, facial
expressions and the like, and thanks to strong performers and a clever
directorial effort, it comes to full bloom nevertheless, properly drawing
the viewer into the narrative - which is of course also helped by the very
atmospheric score. Definitely worth a watch!
