Lexi (Emma Dark) has never really come over the death of her sister
Haley (Helen Stephens), so much so that she still feels her presence every
now and again - visions that have become more and more real of late, with
Haley even starting to interact with Lexi - which is all the more
troubling since Haley died at birth and now she's all grown up. Her
neighbours (Jane Garda, Sean Francis Mclaughlin) start to worry about
Lexi, but when they finally try to intervene, they have to witness her
already too far gone ... House of Lexi for sure is one
creepy movie: Its combination of clever storytelling that only by the by
gives up the secrets of its plot with atmospheric camerawork and often
disturbing soundscapes, all carried by a slowburn approach to horror
really work hand in hand to freak the audience out, which is also helped
by solid performances, led by a fittingly otherworldly portrayal of Lexi
by Emma Dark. In all, a short that's likely to stay with you for quite a
bit.
