Flipping through a book of S/M images accompanied by some Marquis De
Sade-quotes, a woman (Lina Romay) starts to masturbate & fantasize of
herself taking part in this bizarre world, including having lesbian sex,
watching a (heterosexual) couple (Mavi Tienda, §zequiel Cohen) having sex,
then stabbing her while tieing him up, raping & castrating him, as well as
tieing another young girl (Rachel Sheppard) up, all under the watchful eyes of
a naked woman (Analia Ivars) who might be just another fictional character ...
or a real life demon.
Was it all just a masturbation fantasy ?
Jess Franco's best films were always pieces of erratic erotica, with Helter
Skelter however he takes the concept one step too far, having produced a
rather incomprehensible series of only loosely linked sex-scenes that almost
seems like a succession of porn loops wouldn't it be for the poetic direction,
weird music & off-screen De Sade quotes.
