A massive shipment of gold that belongs to the king is stolen from the
Sanada family, and since the trail of the gold obviously leads to the
Kurahata clan, Toryou, one of the king's loyals, sends out three female
ninjas to retrieve the gold. The three ninja girls do not only use their
superior fighting skills to get ahead but also their power of seduction -
after all, they are incredibly cute - coupled with some ninja magic, which
involves illusions of naked women, transforming into someone else during
the sexual act and the like. Eventually, the ninja girls cross paths
with Kaze, a warrior from the Sanada clan who also tries to track down the
gold, and one of the girls falls in love with him - which is bad for two
reasons, 1) ninjas aren's allowed to fall in love, and 2) even though they
are after the same thing, they are enemies out of pure professional pride. After
spending a night with the ninja girl, Kaze somehow manages to lose her
while trailing the Kurahata hideout - and he storms right into a trap that
leaves his head in a noose. Upon arriving at the Kurahata's place, the
ninja girl massacre everyone in sight, but fail to find any gold. When
the girls report back to Toryou, they find out he has tricked them all
along, is was him who had his hands into the theft of the gold, but had
put suspicion on the Kurahata clan so the Sanadas would go against them,
with the goal that both families will perish in the resulting massacre.
And the ninja girls were sent on their mission to speed things up a bit. Upon
learning they have been made a pawn in their boss's game, the ninja girls
kill him using their ninja magic ... Above all else, this is a
fun movie: After all, there is sex and nudity and fight scenes, all
brought together in quite imaginative ways and all done in period setting,
carried by a directorial effort that at least sometimes transcends the
purely functional. All of this might not exactly result in a sexy ninja
masterpiece, but an hour-and-a-bit of screentime you will not demand back
after you have seen this.
