Horst (Cheistian Reiner), son of a wealthy family, has nevertheless
hooked up with a gang of truck jackers - which wouldn't even be so bad if
they didn't shoot and kill a trucker during one of their heists. Thing is,
Horst couldn't really deal with this, so they shot him dead as well - and
that got inspector Derrick (Horst Tappert) and his assistant Harry (Fritz Wepper)
on the case, who after days of nothing come up with Horst's girlfriend
(Kristina Nel), then his best friend (Wolfgang Müller), and somehow come
to the concusion that the latte has actually killed Horst ... Not
exactly one of the better epidodes of Derrick, this one
relies on coincidence a bit too much - which might be ok in actual police
work, just not in cop drama - and frankly lacks a consequential script
becaise of it ... and I won't lie to you, the result of this sure is
nostalgic fun - just good vintage crime TV it certainly isn't!
