As the title suggests, this film is a version of Cinderella
set in the future:
Here, the Big Brother-like Controller (Erwin Fuller) has the sex life
of his subjects controlled strictly computer, and everyone who fornicates
is arrested by Roscoe the Robot (Eddie Garetti) and shrunk in size to
about one foot. But for some reason, Tom Prince (Vaughn Armstrong), the
Controller's main stud, is depressed because he just can't take the
computer-controlled sex anymore and wants real feelings and the like. So
he persuades the Controller to have a ball with the motto lose control,
and only the prettiest girls of the country are invited.
Meanwhile, poor little Cindy (Catherine Erhardt), who dreams about her
Prince Charming - who incidently looks exactly like Tom - has to work for
her evil stepmother (Renee Harmon) and her stepsisters (Buri Cowans, Adina
Ross) ... and she's not permitted to go to the ball, where stepmom and
stepsisters are going. But then she meets the Fairy Godfather (Jay
B.Larson) who provides her with an invite, an evening dress (normally,
she's just dressed in rags) and transport ... and once she's at the ball,
she immediately catches the eye of Tom Prince, who takes her to a private
room and they fornicate. but then of course, she has to leav in a hurry
because she has to be home by midnight - and tom is left without a clue
who she really was. So to find her, he has to travel through the country
and shag every girl there is ... which really brings him down. And after
he has also shagged Cindy's sisters, he is about to give up ... when Cindy
catches his eye once more, and he immediately knows who she was.
And with the lovers reunited, all that is left for the Fairy Godfather
to do is to transport them to the Controller to persuade him to end his
control of his subjects' sex-lives.
A cross between softcore erotica, science fiction, fairy tale, and
(disco-)musical ... and yes, the film is as silly as this description
makes it sound, and since it's made on the cheap, don't expect, fancy
special effects, good costumes (especially Roscoe the Robot is a bit of a
disgrace) or great sets, cause you won't be getting any, period.
That said, as a piece of silly as hell nostalgic erotica, Cinderella
2000 is quite entertaining, one just mustn't take it seriously ...
By the way: There is also a Snow White-themed sex scene
with veteran midget actor Angelo Rossitto as one of the dwarves in this
movie, but for some reason, this scene is missing from most American
prints.
