It should have been an easy job for hitwomen Joey (Virginia Bryant) and
Taffy (Katie Hepfinger): Pay a visit to mas scientist Dr. Bung (Josh
Campos) to either get the wonder-sex-drug from him or to shoot him dead
should he fail to deliver - totally straigh-forward, really. Thing is, the
good doctor isn't willing to give up the drug yet because it's not yet
tested on humans - so to resolve that little dilemma, Joey and Taffy just
test it on him ... to see him turn into a sexual maniac who rapes his
assistant (Adam Lorenz) on the spot, who immediately turns into a sexual
maniac as well - so our heroines have to shoot them both dead ... and that
leaves our heroines with another problem: The scientist's dead, his drug
is much to dangerous, and their boss (Terence Lee Cover) isn't one to take
lightly to the fact that they've somehow blundered, even if through no
fault of their own ... so they claim that Dr. Bung has taken off with his
assistant to Beaver Lake to commit suicide, and they have taken the drug
with them, then they take the barrel full of Bung's super sex serum up to
said lake to ... not sure what their plans were, but anyways, they lose
the barrel, and hillbillies Clem (David Gibson) and Cletus (Josh Hooper)
find it and mix it into their moonshine. But when they drink it, they turn
into horny yet carnivourous monsters, and they attack all campers nearby,
who of course also turn. They also feed some of it to their mother, who
turns into the worst of them all - forcing Joey and Taffy to shoot her
once they find her. But shooting momma doesn't sit well with Clem and
Cletus, monsters or not - and suddenly, our girls find themselves on the
run from everybody ... The ubiquituous Lloyd Kaufman plays a TV anchor
in this one. Now it's safe to say that if you watch Blood
Orgy at Beaver Lake, you don't expect the next Citizen Kane, or
even a half-serious genre entry - the title already suggests some rather
crude humour with plenty of gore to spice things up ... and the film
delivers just that, so expect plenty of bathroom humour, unprovoked
topless nudity, and quite a few gross-out scenes. What's so endearing
about the film though is that it knows what it is and is unapologetic
about it - and at the same time it seems to have fun with itself, fun
that's infectuous, too. So whether you find this movie crude or not,
prepare to be entertained!
