A man (Dylan Knight) is lured by a clown hand to enter a portal that
opens in his living room - and on the other sides, he finds himself in a
word populated by clowns ... that just scare the shit out of him. The
scary thing though, he can't be sure whether this other dimension is just
an illusion, as one would assume, or real, and really out to drive him
Watching Beyond Macabre, one better not pay
too much attention to the plot, which is simple and straight forward - but
that's quite intentional, as Beyond Macabre is more of a mood piece
... and it's really creepy, a great blend of weird, at times surreal
imagery, cartoony and dark sound effects, disconcerting music and a creepy
poem to top it all off.
Worth a look, definitely, but better not watch
it if you're afraid of clowns ...
