A group of anarchists (led by Kathryn Eastwood and Shane Ryan) release
the zombie virus onto humankind, a virus for which there is no cure and no
escape - but somehow they seem to not have thought this wholly true ... Like
its protagonists, this short is a bit anarchistic in approach, exemplified
first and foremost in its non-polished looks and camerawork and
unconventional story build-up ... but that all works in favour of the
movie, only helping to bring its story across that much more intensely,
and thus giving a dimension to its zombie story that goes beyond just
horror and bloodletting, actually gives the movie a sociopolitical side
lost to zombie cinema since (with exceptions of course) George A. Romero's
early efforts. And that's actually what makes the film much more
unsettling than just another zombie kill ...
