Laina (Steph Song) and Tyler (Steve Lund) have just had teriffic sex -
and now she wants to get rid of him as soon as possible. Tomorrow, he has
to leave for Korea anyways, but that's not soon enough for her. You see,
Laina, while still very attractive, figures herself a cougar since she's
39 and he quite obviously is younger - and she wants to block out all
emotions when it comes to sex as she has obviously been hurt a few times
before. And she thinks he's the perfect partner who's just out for another
"conquest" - and it shocks her to learn he's actually serious
about here. But the story's much more complicated than just that ...
very effective movie about modern relationships - basically because it
doesn't try to hard to be on message and just tells a story between two
persons concentrating on strong characters (carried by a pair of wonderful
performances) and the chemistry between them (even if it's not always
"love" as such) instead of pushing audience perception in one
way or the other.
In all, a very interesting and utterly unique short!
