Following the advice of her mother (Lynn Lowry), Julie (Lillian Lamour)
decides to date a trucker she has met on a dating app - but the trucker
she has picked, Fisher (Jeff Phoenix), is a bit on the weird side, and the
fact that he brings his own water to the date isn't even the oddest thing
about him. Soon it looks as if the date is doomed, too, as while she's in
a hurry to get him into her bed, and dresses down to her underwear to make
her intentions clear, he's still waiting to make "his move",
which soon enough results in the two of them getting into an argument - an
argument that gets so out of hands it leads to a surprising result ... A
really nice comedy that's brought to life by the two leads who really get
the most out of the awkwardness of the situation, as well as a rather
clever script that steers clear of the moronic despite the raciness of the
situation. And a subtle enough directorial effort sees to it that
everything is given enough space to breathe, to make this very cool
entertainment.
