A Slaughterhouse: A cow is about to be slaughtered when the butcher
realizes he has forgotten today's slaughter-weapon of choice, the machine
gun. The cow takes his chance and makes a hasty exit. But he's not likely
to forget (let alone forgive) those who killed his family and were about
to murder him, so before long he returns to the slaughterhouse - ony this
time, he carries an axe ... Now To the Slaughter might not be
the most refined film, and it could have done with a little bit of a
bigger budget - but that all said, if you can overlook some shortcomings,
it's also a ton of irreverent fun. Basically, the premise alone (a cow
with an axe) is already a winner, and the whole thing is told in a
self-ironic enough way to keep one amused at all times.
