Seems like stripclub owner Nick (Harley Wallen) just can't get a break:
Sure, his brother, the actual owner of the club, has finally died, and his
bouncer Gar (Dominique Alexander) manages to successfully stall the
investigations of Officer Alison (Kaiti Wallen) into the disappearance of
a stripper, but Gemini (Jimmie Chiappelli), leader of the biker gang
interested in buying the club, starts to lose his nerve - to a point where
he might back out. Meanwhile, one of Nick's strippers, Scarlet (Alyssa
Caswell) finds it more and more difficult to keep the fact from her
boyfriend Zach (Timothy James Smith) that at Nick's club she sometimes
does more than just taking her clothes off - especially when one of Zach's
friends recognizes her from an earlier "encounter" ... Another
cool episode of the series, and one that works (like much of the series)
because it isn't interested in painting a black-and-white picture but
presents the audience with a world of chaos peopled by relatable
characters, especially Nick, who one tends to root for despite all his
shortcomings (and there are many). And through clever storytelling
then this turns out to be a piece of pretty awesome television.
