Sheena (Irish McCalla) helps her buddy guide Bob Rayburn (Chris Drake)
and security man Logan (Robert Shayne) to track down two diamond thieves
in the jungle - and eventually, they find one of them (John Alvin) dead,
while the other, Bruner (John Banner), has apparently hooked up with an
especially evil tribe of natives. When our heroes follow Bruner further,
they're of course captured by the natives, but Sheena's chimp steals the
diamonds from Bruner and heads off into the jungle. Now Logan shows his
true colours and reveals himself to be one of the baddies, and they force
Sheena to get back her chimp while they hold Rayburn hostage ... however,
from here on everything goes wrong for the villains, and ultimately Logan
shoots Bruner before being apprehended while the diamonds, which the chimp
has dropped for bananas, remain lost forever. Your typical
1950's-TV-jungle adventure: Made on the cheap, with a bit of actual jungle
footage rather clumsily edited into the proceedings, shot safely back home
in the USA - but it's just campy and silly enough to remain watchable.
