Chuck (Lou Frizzell) has just been released from prison, and already he
is under suspicion of having stolen some industrial diamonds - so uch so
that even his daughter Jenny (Debralee Scott) starts to doubt her father,
and only a talk with her chemistry teacher Andrea Thomas (JoAnna Cameron)
dan convince her otherwise. Eventually, everything seems to turn out fine
when an insurance detective, Jenkins (Paul Jenkins) asks for Chuck's help
in investigating a series of industrial diamonds-thefts ... but when Chuck
supplies Jenkins with a series of wrong clues, Jenny once again thinks her
father is up to no good - though actually, dan's just trying to hunt down
the real diamond thief on his own, which to noone's real surprise turns
out to be Jenkins in the end. But Jenkins tries to bend the facts so Chuck
gets all the blame. Luckily though, superheroine Isis - teacher Andrea Thomas'
alter ego - has been a witness to the theft and apprehends the real
culprit ... and in the end, Chuck turns out to be the hero in his
aughter's eyes he should have been from the start. Pretty campy
and thus mildly funny, this episode suffers greatly from its trust your
loved ones-message that seems to be delivered by sledgehammer and that
makes the whole plot a tad too predictable.
