To sum the story of this film up in a few words is next to impossible,
as this short is very associative in its approach to storytelling, and
thus any attempt at a proper synopsis would only be a personal
interpretation. What I can say though is that this film centers on Alexia
(MOTH3R) and her female gang who roam the streets and woods of a dystopian
future UK, coming across all sorts of characters, from a tarot card reader
(Layla Bammeke) to an abandoned homeless girl (Lauren Hopkins) to a voodoo
master (9Tales
The Artist) to the Queen of Sabbath herself (Emily Neko), with cellist
Nadege Rochat playing her piece Epiphany popping up pretty much
every step along the way. And having said as much as I did
above hardly does the movie justice, as while it's obviously inspired by A
Clockwork Orange and similar films of dystopia, it's very much a mood
piece that comes to life with the richness of its pictures, with sets and
locations between urban decay and creepy landscapes that at times border
the surreal. And somehow, putting an emphasis on atmosphere, everything
clicks together as a homogenous triplike whole, making this a very unique
and impressive movie experience.
