Noah (Tito Ortiz) has long quit his job with the Agency, but now he's
offered a fortune to bring the team (Cris Cyborg, Mike Ferguson, Mike
Markoff, Pauil Rikibili) back together to raid the headquarters of a Texas
Neo-Nazi group. Now this shouldn't be too big of a thing for mercenaries
like Noah and company, only these Neo-Nazis are well-prepared as they hold
an amount of plutonium and want to put it to good (evil) use before
anybody else can and thus their hide-out's heavily guarded. But the real
problem is, they're apparently just thrown into the mix as cannon-fodder
for an FBI agent (Kelsey Johnson) supposed to put an end to the Neo-Nazis'
super soldier program ...
Now to use too much (or really any) scrutiny on the actual
plot of Operation Black Ops ... is really the wrong way to approach
this movie, this is really just good vs. evil at its basest and mostly a
hanger for the film's very well executed action sequences - which are
really the film's main strength as they're as hard-hitting as visceral.
But that said, the film's not a mere battle royal at all, it does feature
well conceived and colourful characters, and does offer these characters
their own conflicts - just all in the context of a good, in the best way
of the meaning old-fashioned action flick.
