Doug (Kevin James) and Carrie (Leah Remini) miss time on their own, so
they get her dad Arthur (Jerry Stiller), who lives with them, a weekend
job at the pizza place of Doug's annoying cousin Danny (Gary Valentine -
actually Kevin James' brother), which Danny sees as some sort of
reconciliation after not having heard from Doug in years. However, Doug
and Carrie's plans to finally have sex in the kitchen come to naught when
time and again one or the other is not in the mood for one reason or
another, and ultimately, Doug and Danny fall out and when Doug and Carrie
are finally ready to do it in the kitchen, they find Arthur sitting at the
kitchen table. Not a great episode as once again, the premise
is too far-fetched, but plenty of funny scenes anyways, and Danny, who is
intorduced in this one, will become one of the more interesting recurring
characters of the series.
