Two mad scientists (Kjell Eriksson, Gustav Ljungdahl) have created a
manshark (Jesper Danielsson) who's supposed to be the ultimate weapon,
mainly because he's a shark that can walk on land and knows how to handle
a chainsaw. Two teenaged sisters, one a sexy blonde, one a brainy
brunette (and both played by Elsa Storgärds), go camping with their
friends, which means sex, drugs ... and of course sharkman attacking and
killing all their friends, only the girls get away. But while the blond
one has nothing better to do than letting every guy she meets persuade her
to return to the woods where her friends were slaughtered by sharkman,
brunette one teams up with master detective Tweed (Paul Willers) to track
down whoever did this - but Tweed proves to be a totall disappointment
who's unable to pick up a single clue and takes a leave once he's remotely
close to the killer. So our heroine teams up with Bror the Hunter
(Christoffer Vedin), whom the scientists have hired to bring back the
creature alive - and more by mistake than design, the two of them manage
to do just that. But it wouldn't be proper mad scientists if they, once
they have their hands on sharkman again, wouldn't just enhance his
abilities by quite a bit without taking any precautions to ensure he
cannot escape again - and escape he does, leaving behind a trail of murder
and destruction ... Ok, don't expect the best creature feature
ever when watching Jaws of the Shark, as it has never set out to be
just that, and don't expect any fancy special effects either, as even the
monster suit looks a tad sub-standard - but the movie has never set out to
be anything of grandeur, instead deliver some sci-fi/horror/slasher spoof
entertainment that's first and foremost to deliver laughs, if at times of
the gross-out variety - think Troma,
maybe. It's quite obviously too that everybody on set had lots of fun
doing this - and this is totally infectuous! Basically, this should work
very well as a party movie ... so what are you waiting for, grab some
beers and some mates and have a good laugh!
