Joe Moreno (Kent Taylor) has Sandra Tate (Georgina Spelvin) sprung from prison to make her part of his girls for rent-organisation, an organisation that offers girls for pretty much everything - but primarily fucking and contract killings. Sandra's speciality is the latter, and her first assignment is to off crooked politician Holloran (Hugh Warden) - and she decides to use a prostitute of Moreno's organisation, Donna (Susan McIver), to actually poison the man ... without her knowing what the drugs will have on her client of course.

When Donna finds out that se has just killed a man, she slightly panics and makes an escape to Mexico - which might sound like a reasonable and sensitive decision that serves everyone involved - yet Merino sends Sandra and his right-hand woman Erica (Rosalind Miles) after Donna to have her killed. The chase gets somehow out of hands when Donna's car is stolen by a hitchhiker (Tallie Cochrane), she gets picked up by a bible-thumping pervert (B-Western veteran Robert Livingston), and finally hooks up with a nice guy, Chuck (Preston Pierce) whom she at first completely distrusts, but she opens up to him by and by ... until the two fall in love.

Of course, Sandra and Erica have long picked up Donna's trail, yand everything ends in a big finale on the beach during which Chuck manages to kill Erica but can't keep Donna from being shot dead anyways. Ultimately though, he can at least have his revenge on Sandra after an extended car-vs-dune buggy chase ...

One of the better sex-and-crime movies by Al Adamson, held together not so much by a strong story but by steady pacing and rather well executed action sequences - and in this kind of movie, a bit of nudity every once in a while doesn't hurt a bit neither of course. Now don't get me wrong, Girls for Rent is by no means a great movie, not even a genre masterpiece, but if you want a bit of trashy entertainment and don't mind about plotholes or narrative inconsistencies too much, you could do a lot worse. Actually, this one's pretty enjoyable in a way.
